“IK BEN GEBOEID DOOR HOW WE LEARN AND WHEN WE RISE OM TE LEREN”

ABOUT ME

I am an independent team player and love building. My independence is grounded in being an entrepreneur. At the same time, I enjoy collaboration—working with some colleagues and clients for many years. I believe in the power of a team, a group, a board. There is nothing more fulfilling than reaching great heights together (even in small ways) and making a meaningful impact in this world together.

From my Gestalt background, I focus on personal leadership: understanding myself, how I connect with others, and the impact I have on my environment. Experience is central to this approach. A key indicator is "aliveness"—what energizes me, and where does my energy drain away? From my theater background, I focus on the organization as a whole: what role is expected of me, and can or do I want to fulfill it? I encourage individuals and organizations to explore (and, if necessary, push) their boundaries and to define their roles. An organization is, at its core, human work. When we get it right, the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts.

Background

As a child, I already dreamed of becoming a teacher. However, after completing the Pedagogical Academy in Nijmegen, I found it all too traditional. Theater called to me. After graduating from the Academy of Performing Arts in Amsterdam, I won the Cameretten Festival, receiving both the jury prize and the audience award. "A strong stage personality," the press said. While I loved performing, I missed the direct interaction. My search for "what moves me and what moves others" led me to Gestalt. For me, Gestalt has become a way of life: living in the present and in connection with others. I studied at BOLT in Zaltbommel and the NSG in Amsterdam, completing this journey in 2005 with an MSc at Middlesex University in London. This knowledge of humanity led me to become a trainer and coach in the field of leadership: personal leadership, managerial leadership, and now exploring new ways of leading and being led.

In short: always on the move.

And how are things going?

WHAT MOVES ME AND MOVES YOU
